Middlesbrough Youth Offer

The Youth Offer is the term we use to describe the wide range of youth work activities available to young people in Middlesbrough. We have 6 core principles that underpin all our work with young people, these include:

1. Youth-led : Young people are actively involved in decision making processes on issues that affect them, they have a voice!
2. Inclusivity, equality and diversity : Young people feel included in their local area and can access the support they need as they progress towards adulthood.
3. Respect : Young people are a valued and respected part of the community.
4. Quality, safety and well-being : Young people have access to good quality services, where they feel safe and have their health and wellbeing needs met.
5. Empowerment : Young people feel empowered to progress and engage in employment, education and training, and to take an active role in their local communities.
6. Positivity : Young people have access to strength-based services which focus on developing their skills and attributes.
